Job Responsibilities:

Assist the project team in documenting FF&E design on a variety of project types.
Assist the project team in producing presentation materials and in coordinating FF&E designs with vendors and other resources.
Assist the project team with selection, coordination, and documentation of interior architectural finishes.
Assume an assistant role in design presentations in communicating with clients and ensure that format is compatible with office and client standards/requirements
Help develop and execute the FF&E direction for the overall project and communicate to the project team
Communicate project status to senior FF&E designer on a regular basis and develop and maintain communication with all project team members, including the operations director
Designing and sourcing FF&E from concept through to finished details
Liaising with contractors and suppliers in order to ensure FF&E is delivered on time and on budget
Liaising with design and purchasing teams to ensure FF&E is in line with client expectations and to budget
Working on project ‘fit-outs’ and overseeing the installation of FF&E alongside contractors - involving stays away from home
Keep abreast of new trends that may influence FF&E design scheme

Skills

Job Requirements:

Minimum 4 years experience (Intermediate Designer).
Experience required in:
Interior design presentation.
Sourcing and documenting FF&E design.
Selection & documentation of interior architectural finishes.
Experience with AutoCAD, InDesign, Sketch Up, Illustrator, Photoshop, and hand sketching.
Must be team-oriented, articulate, flexible, productive, able to deal successfully with team members, Principals, and outside vendors.
Must be willing to learn, meet deadlines, and take initiative.
