Description
Responsibilities
- Provide technical support to our clients across the UAE as part of the IT support team.
- Work with the implementation team in onboarding new clients, migrating, upgrading, and being involved in IT projects and new systems deployment.
- Answer calls and provide necessary support over the phone, email, or physical visit.
- Manage multiple support tickets at once and prioritize user requirements.
- Manage client requirements and propose new technology to improve their environment.
- Implement approved security guidelines and ensure compliance.
- Keep the IT Helpdesk system records accurate and up to date.
- Install, modify, upgrade, and repair computer hardware and software, as well as computer peripherals.
- Manage and administer Office 365 tenants with advanced features.
- Research and identify solutions to software, hardware, systems, networks, printers, and scanners issues.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues.
- Track computer system issues through to resolution, within agreed time limits.
- Properly escalate unresolved issues to appropriate internal teams.
- Ensure all issues are properly logged.Accept constructive criticism and customer feedback regarding their experience with software or IT service.Develop agreed solutions and implement new systems
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience as IT support engineer or similar role.
- Proven work experience as a Technical Support Engineer, Desktop Support Engineer, IT Help Desk Technician, or similar role.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- The ability to communicate technical information to non-IT clients and colleagues.
