Roles and Responsibilities

  • Drive "Proactive Procurement" vision and influence synergies among divisions/depts.
  • Work closely with key stakeholders to develop effective cost reduction strategies and implementation plans.
  • Nurture stakeholder relationships by serving as a business partner, helping identify critical business requirements and providing sourcing and procurement services that meet expectations.
  • Control the budgetary expenses for each department.
  • Negotiating with external vendors to secure advantageous terms.
  • Examine and test old and new contract

Skills

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Excellent working knowledge of ERP/MRP functions with experience in software implementations
  • Advanced Excel Experience and or Qualification
  • Demonstrated ability to think and lead on a strategic level within the organization.
  • Decision maker, with the ability to get the best from his/her colleagues.
  • Strong project/program management experience
  • Understanding of IT concepts and integrated business applications
  • Professional qualification in procurement (e.g., MCIPS)
  • Experience in ERP systems (Microsoft Dynamix Preferred)
