Project Architect

Job Description

Collaborate with clients, engineers, and design teams to develop architectural concepts and design solutions.
Create detailed architectural drawings, plans, and specifications using computer-aided design (CAD) software.
Conduct site visits to assess existing conditions and gather necessary information for project development.

Prepare and manage project schedules, budgets, and resources to ensure timely completion of architectural deliverables.
Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure accurate implementation of architectural designs.
Monitor construction progress, resolve design-related issues, and provide guidance to ensure adherence to design intent.

Stay updated on local building codes, regulations, and zoning requirements.
Ensure architectural designs comply with applicable codes and regulations.
Collaborate with regulatory authorities to obtain necessary permits and approvals.

Review architectural drawings, specifications, and project documents for accuracy and completeness.
Conduct regular quality checks during construction to ensure compliance with design standards.
Resolve any conflicts or discrepancies between architectural designs and construction activities.

Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including engineers, interior designers, and contractors, to integrate architectural designs into the overall project.
Provide technical guidance and support to junior architects and drafters.

Act as a primary point of contact for clients regarding architectural aspects of the project.
Communicate design concepts, progress updates, and address client feedback and concerns.
Manage client expectations and ensure client satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture from an accredited institution.
Professional registration/license as an architect.
Extensive experience in architectural project management, preferably with a focus on Site/ Office .
Proficient in architectural design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp) and familiarity with project management tools.
Strong knowledge of building codes, regulations, and construction methodologies.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
